Destination plans, subscriptions and the free trial

Activation details that differ by product
A normal destination eSIM can be installed before travel and typically connects when it reaches the relevant network. Cruise plans require the correct device settings at sea; GigSky instructs users to keep airplane mode off and Wi-Fi off so the phone can use the ship’s cellular network. Some Cruise + Land plans may activate early if they also cover the user’s home country.
