Match the exact vessel
Two ships from the same cruise line can have different eligibility. Select and save the exact ship and sailing dates before purchase.
A generic cruise label does not prove coverage on an unlisted vessel.
Sea and land coverage
Cruise + Land can switch between the onboard network and supported terrestrial networks. Other products can be narrower.
Compare all ports and any hotel nights before or after the voyage.
Onboard settings and backup
Cruise instructions can differ from ordinary travel eSIM advice. Follow the product’s airplane-mode, Wi-Fi and cellular steps.
Disable cloud backups and keep cruise Wi-Fi, offline documents and a port-country eSIM as backups.

Purchase, setup and support checklist
GigSky Cruise eSIM should be purchased only after matching the specialized product to the actual itinerary. For cruise connectivity, verify the cruise line, vessel, sailing dates, sea coverage and every port. A cruise-brand match without the correct ship is not sufficient.
Save the selected ship or product page, data allowance, validity and activation instructions. Maritime and inflight products can require settings that differ from ordinary land-based eSIMs, including airplane-mode, Wi-Fi or onboard-network instructions. Generic travel-eSIM advice should not override the provider’s product-specific workflow.
Prepare a fallback connection before departure. Download tickets, maps and emergency contacts, keep the cruise line’s Wi-Fi information available, and consider a terrestrial eSIM for port days. Disable cloud backup and automatic operating-system updates because specialized-network data can be consumed much faster than ordinary messaging and maps.
- Verify the exact ship, aircraft or specialist network.
- Separate onboard coverage from port or land coverage.
- Confirm whether hotspot is supported on the selected product.
- Save an offline fallback for times when the specialist network is unavailable.
