Mint Mobile international use is tied to an active Mint line and current Minternational Pass options. A pass preserves the US number and provides defined validity and allowances. It does not create a local line or unlimited global service.
The pass is purchased for an eligible Mint account. It uses the existing number and does not create a second line.
Current pass sizes and destinations should be checked in the account rather than copied from an old article.
A pass can include defined data, voice and text allowances. Hotspot and reduced-speed behavior should be checked separately.
Enable and test Wi-Fi Calling before leaving the United States.
A travel eSIM can provide a larger data allowance while Mint remains active for calls and authentication.
Disable automatic data switching and understand voice charges on the Mint line.

Carrier international benefits are attached to an account and line; they are not guaranteed merely because the phone displays the carrier name. A Minternational Pass uses the existing Mint line rather than creating a destination number.
